Since the first semester of ninth grade (yes, this is going to sound sad) I’ve been counting down the seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, semesters, years, etc. to the end of highschool and the beginning of college. Folks, the final year is among us! School starts in less than a month, and for the first time ever, I’m really not dreading it. Yes, I’m going to have more APs to worry about than ever. And yes, I’m continuing Hebrew which is going to take hours and hours off of my freetime during the week. And finally yes, college applications are going to be stressful beyond belief. But I view this whole time as one of the most exciting of my life. I don’t care that I’m going to sprout a scalp full of gray hairs - it’s going to be the last time! So, wish me luck would you?

As you may or may not have noticed, there’s a new look here at dwihgt.net. I’m pretty impressed with myself that I got this layout up and running: the old one was pretty, but old. I am happy with the results, thoughts? In other news, I completely redesigned Viva la Brush! in an even LONGER awaited overhaul. I added a new brush set to boot. I feel so accomplished
I’ll probably add in some more content today… I’m hoping to maybe include some opinion articles or something… we’ll see.

I do what most of my teenage counterparts do on their off time, I waste my time on Digg. I read all sorts of articles, look at pictures… humorous, serious, ridiculous. But one article caught my eye today on simple ways to go green. At first I was amused. It had good tips: eliminate road rage, don’t waste toilet paper. But they all seem like minuscule things people can do to affect the environment. What most omnivores don’t know is that by going vegetarian/vegan, people save more greenhouse gases than switching from an automobile to walking everywhere. And it’s not like vegan propaganda, unless you consider UN findings at the Food and Agriculture Organization “propaganda.” Rearing cattle produces more greenhouse gases than driving cars.
