Raychel of Amber-Eyes‘ review.

Presentation
While I do like the anime Full Metal Alchemist, I’m not particularly fond of the way people are drawn in it. Your header image though, takes up 3/4 of my first screen featuring two of said people; not only that but it’s red with black text. On top of all this, the fact that your layout is left aligned (as opposed to centered) gives the blank space (on the right) undeserved focus. This is especially a problem with larger resolutions where quite a bit of red blank space will be visible.

Erica of In-genesis‘ review.

Presentation:
I wish you had incorporated green more in your color scheme to make it more lively!! Making the background print you currently have into a more green “bent” would make your site look a bit more lively. Also, stray away from using any white text in your header, it gets washed out quite easily against the fairly light background. I can scarcely see “a web design site”. The “Junk & Trash” text should also be darkened a bit to make it more distinguishable from the background. All in all, though, I really do enjoy the look of the header… I think it’s very pretty and it reminds me of autumn. Your layout is very clean, straight lines and and cohesive color scheme. I think some of your colors, e.g. the background on hover for your links, is too close to the text color and washes it out. Make sure that everything stands out well enough to not make me squint or misread something. The one objection I really have is your footer. The text there is damn near impossible to read. It might not be as pretty to make the text stand out more, but it needs to be functional as well as attractive… make sure the text is very easy to see! Overall, I love your design. I’m a leaf-lover and a fan of green, and I always love a pretty layout that incorporates them. I think you should try to add a bit more contrast, make your colors darker while still keeping the hue to contrast with your very faded background and header.
