I figured the queue was getting awfully large, so I took the liberty of re-checking the sites in the queue. The following sites have been removed because they did not load (if you’d like to be re-added to the queue, make sure your server isn’t having any issues and use the submit form–sorry for any inconvenience)

Again, if your name is on this list and you think it’s on the list in error, please contact us or resubmit and we’ll place you back in the queue in your original place1.

Erica of Haecceity’s review.

Since you took the time to make multiple themes, I’ll take the time to review them.

No Poetry: By far my favorite of your themes. The colors work well together, you successfully pulled off the “aged” feel, and the layout functions so well! I really adore this theme, pretty much everything about it–except for the footer. Because it has such an aged feel in your header, what with the curled corner and whatnot, it’s kind of offputting to see a straight-edged blob at the bottom out of nowhere. I honestly thought that my browser didn’t load that part of your site until I noticed the paperclip tying everything together. It’s also weird that the introduction is in your footer–won’t people have already browsed much of your site before noticing that? To sum up, not only is this theme gorgeous and functional, but you’ve successfully matched colors in an aesthetically pleasing manner. The only thing you should fix is making the footer more fluid (try just “continuing” the paper to the bottom).

Linda of Hide’s review.

I am not a fan of the way you’ve presented your site. For one, it shows up differently in Firefox than it does in Safari, making me think that you don’t have valid coding or a properly setup layout but only really optimized it for IE. You should look into making your site cross-browser compatible as IE is slowly getting replaced by better browser platforms. Plus the idea of publishing a website is to make information available to a bunch of people; only catering to a select group and not making your site Mac or Firefox compatible could be a problem. Secondly, you have a blend of Christina Aguilera as your header. The blend itself is subpar: I don’t like how washed out the images are and the monochromatic direction you took the look in. The writing brush at the top and the floral ones on the bottom look completely out of place and don’t fit into the design whatsoever. Also, assuming that you didn’t take the photographs yourself or got permission from the photographer, you technically are violating a bunch of copyright laws by unlawfully stealing and manipulating pictures that don’t belong to you. Jem has a really interesting article on copyright and fair use, but needless to say I think you should look into making original designs without the use of copyrighted material.
