About

As defined by Dictionary.com:
truculent [truhk-yuh-luhnt, troo-kyuh-]
-adjective

1. fierce; cruel; savagely brutal.
2. brutally harsh; vitriolic; scathing.
3. aggressively hostile; belligerent.

Mission Statement:
The goal of Truculent Reviews is to provide website owners with honest, constructive criticism. This does not include belittling, making vague comments about how “dull” someone’s site is, or making general statements. The idea is to learn, not to make someone feel like a total dork for making dumb coding or spelling errors. It means that all negative remarks will be followed up with tips on how to improve. Yes, the reviews will be meticulous. This means sorting through most links (to determine if they are all intact and don’t lead to websites that no longer exist), looking at spelling and grammar usage (misplaced modifiers give me hives), and pointing out any coding mistakes. The name “Truculent Reviews” may be misleading: we won’t make you cry, we promise.

Sidenote: there are no “rules” to submitting. If your site is offensive, it probably won’t get a good review. If you have any questions, read our FAQ. And while a link back is well appreciated, it isn’t required by any means.
